Demons – Swallow EP

Demons barely have enough time to devote to this new EP, which clocks in at just under 6 minutes and consists of 4 heart-racing, blood-pumping slabs of furious, scathing noise rock.

Terrible Love – Doubt Mines EP

With this second EP, Terrible Love continue the tension and gloom-laden, stripped back attack their debut EP, Change Nothing had. However, the mixture of stark, pummeling aggression, married with the more atmospheric moments add depth to their strained and ravenous soundscapes.

Holy Gold – Feral Children

The alumni that make up Atlanta’s Holy+Gold burst forth from the metalcore bubble, with members of Norma Jean, The Glass Ocean and professional crowd-surfers, The Chariot in tow. It’s a surprise then, to hear that Holy+Gold carry very little over musically from these projects, save for teasing moments of snarling hardcore fury and some fractured distortion.

Night Owls – Informaldehyde

Night Owls are comprised of drummer and vocalist Will Pollard and guitarist Liam Waddell. There particular brand of poison? Well, I’m honestly not sure. If you were to ask them what they sounded like, they’d probably shrug and start chucking things at you until you eventually walked away, looking a bit lost and sheepish.

Black Years – Black Years II

There’s something incredibly engaging about Black Years, stretched over the three tracks on offer on this 7″ EP – they’re not afraid to mix up their sound, catering for all on this brief, yet memorable slab of punk rock wax.

Golden Tanks – R.D.H.B.

Looking for something that bursts from the starting blocks? Want something that’s quite content to jump up and down with absolutely no decorum, shouting, swearing, screaming and roaring in your face? That barely lets up it’s animalistic ferocity? Oh hi Golden Tanks
