Palehorse are fuckin’ dead. Although nowadays, splitting up is akin to going on a long trip somewhere, only to return 18 years later with a beard and a new hairstyle, still rocking the same moves (hi Refused!) But what of Palehorse? 16 years doing this shit, few line up changes, several albums down the line, sometimes it’s just the time to bow out and let someone else take the reigns.
Wrong – Wrong
*Crushes beer can into head* Let’s get Neanderthal! Wrong are from Miami and are interested in riffs, riffs and more riffs. Made up of ex-members of Kylesa and sludge-pop titans Torche, Wrong are channelling the sweaty, bleary eyed, disgruntled, yet still party-animal instinct of early Kvelertak, alongside the down-tuned hum of Unsane and that snarl of Helmet.
Nervous Mothers / Art Of Burning Water – Split 7″
Nervous Mothers then – four Belgian dudes clattering through some brutal, raw and bleeding power violence that will make you drop your guts and Art Of Burning Water, who take us on a trip through the rotting and darkened forest of doom.

Godhole Vs Crozier – Anthrophobia 7″
*Scratches head* best not to over-analyse this one. More of an artistic concept that actual music; this collaboration between Edinburgh destruction merchants Godhole and Vile Noise mastermind Crozier has crawled from the foetid and pungent streets to say hello.
Art of Burning Water / Harrowed – Split
Art of Burning Water and Harrowed serve up a treat in the form of their brand of blackened-metal grind and sludge-hardcore noise. Another solid release from Super Fi Records, who seem to constantly churn out the very best in underground metallic-noise chaos.
Down I Go – You’re Lucky God, That I Cannot Reach You
Those familiar with Down I Go, will know that a Kickstarter campaign was put together by fellow/rival super-fan, Halldór Heiðar Bjarnason, who invited them out to his Icelandic fljótstunga travel farm to record a new album. You’re Lucky God, That I Cannot Reach You is the warped fruit of their labours and takes the weird metal-hardcore-jazz-harmony-happy-screaming mutation of Down I Go’s sound and amplifies it to the heavens…

Isolation Tank – S/T EP
London beat-combo Isolation Tank are no stranger to Keep It Fast, having reviewed their split EP with fellow crackpots, Art Of Burning Water back in November last year. They haven’t mellowed at all – far from it. Their new self-titled EP is an ugly, acidic affair that is ready to corrode and chew away with it’s bludgeoning and indignant power.
Art of Burning Water / Isolation Tank – Start Tomorrow
Bring on the pain. Two more acts that want to strip away any conception that we’ll be having a joyous last few weeks of 2014 and rightly so. Total and utter destruction is on the cards. Art of Burning Water and Isolation Tank are hear to smash your ears to bits with this new split EP
