The USA Nails family fun time band from that London are back with Character Stop, a challenging, hostile and hilarious portal into their world of weird.
PABST – Ibuprofen
German garage punkers PABST are back with a new single that will guarantee to help with any aches or pains you’re currently feeling.
The St. Pierre Snake Invasion – Caprice Enchante
It’s been a while since I’ve heard an album that absolutely boils with so many conflicting emotions. From first impressions though, absolutely everything on Caprice Enchanté sounds angry.
The Royal They – Foreign Being
Foreign Being by The Royal They is anchored by one common goal – to hit you hard and make you take notice. At first, it felt solely driven by anger. There’s rage in this – boy, is their rage. The guitars howl and fizzle with acidic intent; but there’s also a hell of a lot of heart in this and that heart is pumping raw, bloody emotion from every ventricle.
WHORES. – Gold
If the production on this was some form of mineral, it would be a mudslide; a cruel, filthy, flow that never lets up until everything is submerged in grime. The guitars let off an ear-squealing hiss of disdain throughout the 35 minute running time of Gold, whilst the bass rumbles and belches thick, slabs of mulch and the drumming is a tribal hammering of bloodied determination.
Ultra Panda – Satan, Salsa
Ultra Panda are a French three piece consisting of drums, bass, keys and vocals and straddle that weird, swinging bridge between frantic dance-punk, noise-rock and electronic savagery and manage to create some incredibly tight and infectious sounds with such a swirling mixing pot.
